| Description |
Accommodations Just aft of the anchor locker is an adequate sized v-berth with in-suite hanging locker and storage. Between the salon and v-berth area is a large head with separate shower to port and a large hanging locker and storage area to starboard. The main salon has a fixed centerline table that offers comfortable seating for four. To port is an L-shaped settee that offers a good sea berth or can be made into a double when needed for guests. There is ample easily accessed storage behind, under and over the settee. To starboard is an in-line settee with pilot berth over. At the base of the companionway ladder is a navigation station and desk to starboard. A large quarter berth is aft of the navigation area and the forward edge of the berth doubles as a seat for the navigation desk. Electronics and Navigational Equipment All new Ray Marine electronics were installed during the past 8 months. Deck and Hull Equipment The present owner had the entire bottom from the waterline down peeled and completely gel coated as well as as barrier coated. The bottom is in excellent condition at this time. All exterior canvas coverings were replaced in 2007 including a complete bimni top, spray dodger with eisenglass windshield and storage cover and the main sail cover. There is an Avon 3.15 inflatable dinghy with a 2006 Tohatsu Outboard motor rated at 4.4kW and is managed by a transom lift system constructed from stainless steel. Along with the onboard Wind Generator and invertor the present owner has installed two (2) Mitsubishi Photovolt Module Solar Panels on both the port and starboard sides onf the cockpit. Engine /Mechanical Equipment This vessel is powered by her original Perkins 4-108 marine diesel with just over 2000 original hours. The engine was thoroughly inspected and all recoommendations at that time were performed. The engine space is neat and orderly and suggests a good maintenance program is in place.
Upgrades and Updates Following the original pre-purchase inspection performed in April 2007, this vessel was reinspected by the same certified marine surveyor to review the restoration process that had taken place during the previous six month period. It was noted in the subsequent report that all work was accomplished in a professional manner and meets or exceeds current USCG, ABYC, NEC and NFPA standards and regulations. A partial list of upgrades was noted as follows: 1. Peel Bottom: Epoxy three coats with twelve top coats of of Interlux 2000 and covered with three coats of antifoulant. 2. Re-wiring of both A/c and D/C systems including pumps, hoses, thru hulls and valves. 3. New Ray Marine Electronics to include C-80 Multifunction, ST-6002 Autopilot/ Linear Drive, ST-60 Wind-Speed-Depth Tridata, Freedom 30 Inverter with remote Link 2000, Jensen Stereo with remote helm control and satellite XM Weather Capability. 4. LPG System up-gradeto present standards. 5. New BBB galvanized anchor chain and rode. 6. Marine Sanitation System upgrade and arranged to comply with current standards and regulations. 7. New Stainless Steel Dinghy Davits. 8. New double solar panel charging system with controller and overcurrent protection. 9. Awlgrip paint to the entire hull with boot stripes 10.New Engine Shaft, Cutlass Bearing and Propeller. 11.Many additional upgrades and cosmetic improvements where made and documented on the paid receipts. These receipts have been scanned and placed in an electronic file and are available for your review when requested and when onboard.
