| ACCOMMODATIONS: Berthing for 10 guests plus crew in 5 cabins, all in pine with mahogany trim, and each with its own wash basin/sink and hanging locker. Two separate heads/shower compartments with full facilities are located in the fo'c'sle aft of the sailroom in the forepeak. Amidships on the port side is a large salon with a solid fuel stove surrounded by a settee which extends around the entire salon area with bookshelves above. Aft of the salon is the combination galley and dining area which extends the full width of the vessel, and aft of this compartment is the engine room with work benches, battery banks, etc. Aft of the engine room is the captain cabin and crews quarters with berthing for four, plus a separate heads/shower compartment right aft on the starboard quarter (see layout diagram).
GALLEY: 4-burner propane stove, electric oven, fridge, deep freezer, 2 SS sinks with hot/cold pressure water system, and plenty of storage for cutlery, crockery, and dry/canned goods.
ELECTRONICS: 24 mile Radar with collision warning alarm, speed log, depth sounder, GPS chartplotter, NAVTEX, VHF/DSC radio, SARSAT, VHF EPIRB, radio telephone, color TV with VCR, AM/FM radio/CD player, 3 x compasses.
ELECTRICAL: 12V/24V/220V system with 9 x batteries each of 180 Amp hours. MASE generator (220V), Webasto hot water central heating (radiators).
DECK: Two 12/25 man liferafts, 42 lifejackets, 1 10' dinghy w/OB, two life buoys, 1 marking buoy, rockets, spare rudder, fire pump w/hose, 3 x poweder fire extinguishers, 5 CO2 fire extinguishers, halliard windlass (mainmast), anchor windlass, elevated helmstation on quarterdeck, topsail gaff ketch rig with bowsprit (with netting).
SAILS: 398.75 square meter rig with gaff main, gaff mizzen, main topsail, jib, flying jib, yankee and staysail. All spars of larch. ADDITIONAL: 'Solvang' has been inspected, surveyed and fully certified for up to 37 day passengers plus crew by the German See-Berufsgenossenschaft on 12/2004, and this certificate is good until 04/2009.
