1979 48 Feet Heritage West Indies

Description

This 48' foot, center cockpit cruiser is very roomy and comfortable.  Two generous cabins with en suite head and shower, large wraparound dining area that converts to king size bed plus settee that can be used as a berth.  The galley has a drop down shelf that makes preparing meals hassle-free.  Deep cockpit seats with a center table is great for cruising and at-the-dock socializing.  This is the biggest 48' production boat ever built.   After I bought this boat from it's second owner, I began a total refit in preparation for a three month charter.  All new soft furnishings include new mattresses and foam cushions throughout the boat.  Replaced all the original plumbing with state-of-industry piping, new pumps, shower heads, toilets, and faucets.  New refrigerator/freezer, fully equipped with pots, pans, silverware, etc, new port lights with covers, two air conditioners digitally controlled, nw bamboo floor in galley and walk through.  On deck, custom designed dodger and bimini with full rain curtains, new hatch covers and buoy covers, two large dock boxes make keeping things shipshape easy.  Sloop design with roller furling jib (new bearings for smooth operation), fully battened mainsail, lazy jacks and custom stowaway sail bag, solid fiberglass hull, easy sail handling is great for the single hander.  call 561 542 1413
