A unique and new charter schooner, 'Tai Pan' is designed for intimate luxury charter cruising in the beautiful tropical waters and islands of Thailand. Built of the finest tropical hardwoods with a simple Bermudan schooner rig, 'Tai Pan' is not only magnificent to see, but simple to sail with a small and economical crew. The virtually full-length deck saloon/coach design provides all luxury charter guest cabins with panoramic views, plus easy access to all deck facilities and dining areas without interfering with sail handling crew tasks. In addition, 'Tai Pan' is constructed with triple bilge keels and internal steel 'H' beam reinforcements, which not only keeps the draft down to only 6' 6", but also means 'Tai Pan' can be easily beached for regular bottom maintenance without requiring commercial haulout facilities!<p>
With accommodation for 10 charter guests in four standard cabins plus a spectacular master or honeymoon cabin, each cabin is equipped with its own ensuite head/shower and refrigerator. In addition, there are three below decks cabins for Captain and crew, plus separate galley. With a completely open coachroof for sunbathing, plus elegant dining and lounge aft, 'Tai Pan' is a fine candidate for the charter client of taste!
