This Soverel Shoal Draft Sloop is an affordable family cruiser with roomy interior. She features a large, open, salon with 6'4" of headroom. There's a forward stateroom with v-berth, shelves, lockers, and a vanity dresser. Between the stateroom and salon there is a hanging locker to one side and a large enclosed head compartment with shower to the other. In the salon the is a booth-style dinette to port that converts to a double berth when needed. On the bulkhead are Weems & Plath clock and barometer. Starboard is a long settee that becomes upper and lower bunks. The galley is aft with Galley Maid two-burner stove with oven, two built-in ice boxes with one converted to a DC refrigerator, a long formica counter with stainless steel sink. Storage is provided by a food locker, and dinner ware racks.On deck we have a large cockpit with pedestal wheel, ample seating, and bimini top. There's a stainless steel boarding ladder at the stern and a SS BBQ grill for cooking any fresh catch. Instruments include a Garmin GPS, Datamarine depth finder, Datamarine knot meter, Ritchie compass, and Standard Horizon VHF radio. Sails included are: a main sail, storm jib, 100% working jib, and 140% genoa. Auxiliary power is provided by a fresh water cooled 28-hp Volvo diesel engine. Electrical power includes shore power, four batteries, and a 140-watt solar panel. There has been a keel modification. The swing keel has been removed and 400 lbs. of lead ballast was added.
