1977 36 Feet Metal Mast Marine MM 36

Nokandolah III is a 1979 Metalmast 36 built in Putnam Connecticut. The hull was designed by the famous America's Cup designer Doug Peterson. She sails beautifully and safely as you would expect from a world class yacht designer. It has in-the-mast roller furling with a brand new Quantum Spectra mainsail.

She is Sloop rigged with 35.458 LOA, 29.33 LWL, 11.17 Beam, draft 6.17, and displaces 13,000 pounds with 6,500 pounds in the lead keel. She is powered by a Yanmar 3GM 27 Hp Diesel driving a 17X12 RH folding Martec Prop. Ground tackle consists of a 33 pound Bruce (actually the SL Claw) hoisted by a Lofrans Progress electric windlass. The boat is equipped with Reef-A-Way "in the mast" roller furling as well as a Harken headsail furler. The standard headsail is a 135.

Nokandolah has an Autohelm 4000 Wheel steering system, full set of Autohelm wind, depth, and boat speed instruments and a Plastimo pedestal compass. She has 500 Amp Hours of batteries in two banks charged by a high output generator controlled by a Heart "In Charge" automatic regulator.

Below decks she has a propane stove, water cooled Isotherm refrigerator, and CD stereo.
