This 1983 45’ Morgan Nelson/Merek CB Racing Sloop is the brainchild of Morgan’s President. It is his ultimate solution to the problem posed by poor performance aspects of heavy displacement, traditional cruising designs.

One boat can’t be all things, but the Morgan 45 achieves a superb blend for cruisers who Enjoy going fast and racers who enjoy creature comforts and amenities. Bruce Nelson and Bruce Merek combined their talents to create fast, winning yachts of excellent performance in varied conditions. What Morgan received from them was a clean, low profile design.
