How can you go wrong with such a strongly built boat as the tremendously popular Pearson 30 with her 43% ballast/displacement ratio, deep keel and a tall rig? She is a responsive, performance racer/cruiser, a good investment in a successful design that holds its value. "E.Q." was hauled in 2005 when all standing rigging was replaced. In May, 2002, the engine was professionally rebuilt. She was hauled, bottom inspected and painted May 2009 when the bottom was found to be in excellent condition (see photos).
