The 422 sleeps 6. The forward guest cabin has a large V-berth, overhead hatch and two opening ports. There is a door closure for privacy. There are five drawers for storage, one cupboard and a hanging locker. There is open storage along both sides of the V-berth. There is a storage locker forward and a large storage space below the sleeping area. The forward head is accessible from both the main salon and the forward cabin.
The aft cabin has a centerline queen sized mattress with convenient access from both sides. Storage includes a large hanging locker and a second locker with shelves. There are 7 storage cupboards with shelves and one drawer. There is a bookcase at the head of the bed between the two aft ports. There is an overhead hatch and three opening ports. The owner’s head has a separate stall shower with seat, pressure hot/cold water, one opening port and a toilet.
The main salon has settees both port and starboard with a large drop-leaf table in the center. Both settees convert into single berths. Aft to starboard in the main salon is a U-shaped galley with 2 drawers, 3 overhead shelves and 3 counter top storage cupboards for dishes. There is a microwave oven, a double sink, and a three burner Hillerange propane stove/oven. There is a Glacier Bay refrigerator/freezer that is top opening.
To port of the galley is a large navigation area; an opening chart table with seat and the navigation instruments. Access to the engine is from a walk-in enclosure from the aft stateroom. Removable stairs in the main salon enable access to the transmission and the refrigeration compressor. There is also access along the port side of the engine from a small removable door. The port passage allows access to the owner’s stateroom. Along the passageway is a large workbench with storage space both above and below for tools etc. There are 4 opening Bomar hatches and 16 opening ports. There are screens for all.

Jennie V has cream topsides with a cream main sail cover. The bimini and dodger are Pacific Blue. The framing is stainless, the acrylic glass curtains allow good visibility while ensuring protection from the weather and there are screens for buggy hot weather. The center cockpit has a folding step on both port and starboard, giving easy access to the deck. Aft of the center cockpit is a large lazerette, a split stern rail with a boarding ladder, a radar arch with davits for a dinghy. Both the staysail and the genoa are roller furled. The bow sprit has been extended and easily carries a Max anchor and a CQR. There is an electric windlass and 200’ of 3/8” chain backed up with 150’ of ¾” 12 strand plaited line. For the secondary anchor there is 40’ of chain and 15’ of line.
