2002 66 Feet Steel Motorsailer

This vessel was built in a small ship yard in Thailand to the design of the famous German yacht designer, Professor Scharping. Our owner is a very knowledgable engineer who built four boats previous to this one. Accordingly, he supervised the construction of this vessel.

The boat was configured for the charter business and following successful sea trials it received a charter operating license from the Royal Harbor Department of Thailand. It was designed to be able to be easily single handed due to its oil hydraulic system. The lead ballasted keel withdraws into the hull, lowering the draft to only 6 1/2 feet. It has 3 cabins each with a double bed down and a bunk bed, with private head/shower. There are two separate cabins for the crew with head and shower. This vessel is air conditioned. It features a large salon with dinner table for 7 people, bar with stools, galley with stove, microwave; and of course there are rest facilities. The bridge with a full complement of navigational electronics is also in this area.

Our owner wants to retire from his successful chartering business and sell the boat. He is offering the Charter Business for another $50,000. It must be successful because he says the new owner is going to have to honor his bookings all the way up to April of 2007!
