Tarrab Yachts is representative of fiberglass yacht construction in Argentina. The family company has a shipyard in Tigre, outside of Buenos Aires. Tarrab yachts can be either custom or semi-custom made, drawing from traditional crafting and components/parts from the United States. Tarrab is focused on strong hull construction, with structural bulkheads resistant to water seepage. Stability is also a key to Tarrab yacht construction, with the usage of wide beams and designs for a low center of gravity. Three styles of yachts carry the name Tarrab: Eurostyle motoryachts, a wide-body series with or without cockpit, and large pilothouses. The Eurostyle yachts measure 60 feet or 70 feet in length, the wide-body yachts are 75 feet to 95 feet long, and the pilothouse models are 100 feet to 125 feet long.
