First and Ten is a one owner boat that has been professionally maintained and successfully raced for the last few years.  The owner has built a sail inventory that allows this boat to be extremely competitive!

Built by Beneteau and designed by Farr Yacht Design, the 10R, at less than 9800 lbs, with a fin keel and bulb is fast and very responsive!   With the retractable carbon bowsprit, carbon mast and rod rigging she is light and yet able to handle the loads for racing to your potential!

The large cockpit is set up for plenty of room for crew with upgraded Lewmar 46 primary winches and Lewmar 40’s on the cabintop.  All halyards are led aft to the cockpit through six Spinlock line clutches.  The head in the forepeak with hatch is perfect for setting or dousing spinnakers.  Mainsheet control system with 5:1 course and 30:1 fine tune on a Harken traveler is set up perfectly for the trimmer!  The helmsman has a 63” wheel for fine control with a ¾ turn stop to stop and footrests make it easy while heeling.

The interior features a private owner’s cabin with double berth and three single berths.  A comfortable, forward facing navigation station and an upgraded (at the factory) galley with LPG stove, oven and refrigeration.  A fold-up table in the middle of the cabin has been removed for racing but comes with the boat.  A spacious head compartment is forward of the main cabin and has a sink and a shower.

Plenty of storage throughout the boat including a large locker forward of the head and a large hatch access area behind the helm that would be perfect for a liferaft.

The owner had the bow pulpit shortened by eight inches in order to fit the boat into a 30' slip.  This one feature will save you THOUSANDS of dollars over time!
