1981 Hunter 36 Cherubini
- Stock #097589 -
Sails great. Sleeps 4 to 5, flat screen TV with cable connection!
This Shoal Draft Delaware River Area Classic is one of the last boats that the renowned boat designer John Cherubini was able to put into production before his passing in 1983.
Its hull design is described as being so sound that it can be towed down the highway without a trailer and not be damaged. With only a 4' draft on the boat you are able to bring this vessel into docks that traditional sailboats would certainly balk at!
A rebuilt Yanmar 20 HP diesel engine gets you around when you are not under sail. The Main Sail of the boat is a reefing sail and is complemented with a 120% Roller Furlong. Both appear to be in great shape.
The electronics on the boat include:
-Apelco Marine Radio
-Garmin GPS Echo Map 50S
-Kenwood Sound System
With this shoal draft and a sloop rigged boat you are able to navigate in and out of rivers, bays and gulfs that sometimes hinder deep draft boats.
This well maintained Hunter is a great deal and ready to go!
