1983 Slocum 43
Slocum is not a household name, but for those who are familiar with it, know it to be a true blue water boat with classic lines; great interior for maximum cruising comfort. It was designed by Stan Huntingford and build by Formosa Boat Building in Taiwan, with a canoe stern. But before i get into more of the details, let me tell you why the boat is priced as it is. The owner purchased the boat 2 years ago. It was not in good condition. In the past two years he has: put in a new Yanmar engine; New high end North Sails; new canvas; new upholstery; new galley counter tops; new salon headliner; new electric head; new non skid decking; all the windows were taken out and resealed; bright work all re done; new canvass covers for the toe rails and sail cover; new tv; power windless.
And then there is the interior layout with its beautiful teak and wood finishes. Large comfortable dining table; large "owner" aft port side; large guest cabin forward. Forward facing nav table; and a quarter birth on aft starboard.

Ballast: 9000 lbs
