The Hunter 40.5 is a great cruising sailboat with ample room for either a cruising couple or a family. With the two staterooms complete with ensuite heads, large salon seating areas, and large galley with all the amenities for food preparation, and huge storage capacity.

The owner has spared no expense to maintain and update SEAWINGS. With a replaced Yanmar engine and transmission in 2009, updated electronics, newly configured master cabin berth using a home style queen mattress, bimini and complete enclosure, and beautiful interior soft good fabrics, she is ready for continued sailing and her next adventures.

Boarding through either the port or starboard boarding gates and into the large cockpit area you begin to notice the refinements accomplished by the knowledgeable owner. The addition of a custom made helm seat, folding steering wheel, seat cushions and the new bimini and enclosure, the cockpit area will seat a crowd. Into the companionway and down the steps you enter into the interior. Immediately to port is the L-shaped galley area. To starboard is the navigation station facing forward with lift up charting table and comfortable seat. Aft of the galley and navigation station is the master cabin. Entered from either side, along the starboard side is a doorway into the master head, which also acts as the day head. Into the master stateroom and athwartships is the newly designed berth which utilizes a standard home queen sized mattress with Froli mattress system for an amazing night sleep. Design changes allow additional starboard side storage. Also along the starboard side are cabinets with hanging locker and two large bookshelf storage areas. To port is an additional cabinet with hanging locker and a shelved galley pantry. Along the bed head board is another bookshelf area above. Forward in the master is a mirrored wall with rear engine and transmission access. Back to the companionway and forward is the salon area which features a long settee along the starboard side and a U-shaped shaped settee along the port side which also acts as the dinette. A folding table separates the two settees. The salon has ample storage cabinets and a built in bottle storage area behind the port settee. All the way forward is the guest stateroom with large v-berth with storage drawers beneath. Along the port side is the ensuite head and along the starboard side is a hanging locker with storage above. The owner has added some matching storage areas.

The large “L” shaped galley allows complete food preparation areas, front and top loading refrigeration, and ample storage.
