2005 Jeanneau 49 DS
THE OWNER DROPPED THE PRICE TO $235,000!!!!
The Jeaneau DS line is one of the best looking functional sailboat designs on the water. It's distinctive styling is always noticed in an anchorage. Sleek, yet very livable.
Sei Via Mare is a professionally maintained and cared for example. The exterior and interior is in almost new condition. The full enclosure is perfect for those who like to explore the whole east coast.
You will find a spacious and bright interior with an abundance of living and sleeping space and a cockpit and helm that is comfortable with great visibility.
Power winches and sail controls are in easy reach to make this an easy cruiser for a couple or even single handing. The heavy keel and moderate draft make this boat a good performer that can comfortably sail the Bahamas and the Florida Keys.

Movement in the cockpit is effortless, even with the full enclosure up.
Going down the gangway feels safe and stable and with just two latches the gangway tilts forward for easy engine access. In front of the gangway under a floor panel is access to the 5.5 KW Onan generator.
Looking aft you will find a door on the port side and the starboard side that lead into the aft staterooms. On the port side is a head and separated shower.
The well equipped galley is on the starboard side with a twin sink, a large freezer and fridge. Aft of those is the ENO stovetop and oven.
Directly opposite on the port side is the comfortable navigation station.
Into the bright salon there is a large settee on the port side and the foldout table and seating is on starboard. A flatscreen TV is on the starboard bulkhead.
Opening the forward door on the bulkhead reveals the forward master stateroom, a large semi walk around bed and a private head and separate shower on the starboard side.
I estimate this vessel to be 9.5 out of 10 condition. Everything appears to be operational and in near new condition.
The bilges are clean as is the rest of the boat, the Teak and Holly flooring is near new , and the outside teak is in natural finish.
The full enclosure is perfect for all weather sailing and will come in very handy for those who travel the seasons on the East Coast.
This boat is ready to leave the harbor for extended sailing and only needs food, water and a new owner.
