A magnificent example of the established collaboration between Judel Vrolijk & Baltic Yachts.

Aledoa is full carbon/epoxy yacht with hull lines optimized for performances and easy sailing in any conditions. The three-spreader High Modulus Carbon mast and main boom by Hall, with swept back spreaders, provide plenty of sail power in light wind conditions.

A fantastic yacht for owners looking for quality built yacht with special attention to performance and easy handling.

The main goal with this project was to create a comfortable and safe cruising yacht but with high priorities on optimizing sailing performance. In order to create top level performance characteristics it is important that the yacht is kept light. High technology in material and construction are the main tools to achieve this. Carbon Epoxy Vacuum infused laminates were used for deck and hull and this plus bulkheads and interior flat panels produced in Baltic Yachts´ unique laminating press granted an optimum result.

Detailed weight studies by Baltic Yachts and extensive VPP calculations, including CFD studies, by the Naval Architect, Judel/Vrolijk & co, running several variations in displacement and sail areas against each other guaranteed that the performance criteria’s would be reached.

Baltic Yachts was founded 43 years ago in 1973 by five men looking to build superior yachts – or superyachts - that would give them the edge over their competitors. Baltic Yachts is now one of the leading names in custom and semi-custom made luxury saliboats.

The Baltic Yachts yard is located in a village of Bosund on the West coast of Finland. Here they have developed an excellent facility which is a jewel in the yacht building industry.

The first yacht built by Baltic Yachts Ltd was the Baltic 46 in 1974. Since then they have built custom and semi-custom built yachts for sale in all sizes from 38ft to 152ft.

Additional Information

The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is certified category A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)
