1986 Sea Ray 268 Sundancer
- Stock #078406 -
Fully equipped with every option! Needs Nothing!
This boat, a 268 Sundancer, is in exceptional condition, both physically and mechanically. It's a little longer than the model number indicates due to the bow pulpit and swim platform. It has just about every option anyone could want. This is truly a turn key STEAL!
This boat is currently being dry stored inside, out of the elements. The owner has two other boats so this one doesn't get used. It sits on an all aluminum Loadmaster Sportline, two axle trailer with electric brakes. The trailer has brand new radial tires and newly padded bottom and side rub rails. In addition, the trailer has a covered spare tire and electric winch.
The boat's exterior is white and green with black bottom paint. The canvas cover is green and the bimini top is white. All exterior equipment has a green canvas cover. The seat cushions are custom covered with white and green vinyl to match the boat. The snap-on, foredeck sun pad also is covered in white and green in a custom chevron design. The custom fold down transom bench seat has the same vinyl colors. Outside the transom is the large extended swim platform with swim ladder and LED lights for night time swims.
Immediately adjacent to the sun pad, on either side, are skylights that are located just in front of the windshield and add light to the main cabin. At the foot of the sun pad, nearer the bow, is another large sunlight that provides light to the forward berth. Along both sides of the foredeck are stainless steel handrails that start at the bow pulpit and extend back to the rear sides of the cabin. The anchor and windlass are accommodated within the bow pulpit.
The cockpit is very spacious and contains large floor space with a transom bench seat and storage built in to the back of the helm station. The raised large helm has every control this vessel's Captain needs. JRC Radar and Garmin GPS monitors are on the dash together with the Ritchie compass, Bottom Line Fish Finder and the Standard Horizon Depth Instrument. The West Marine VHF radio is mounted on the hull to the right of the large steering wheel. Overhead is the radar arch and folding white Bimini top.
The companion way and stairs down to the main cabin are on the port side. A large hanging locker is on the left and access to the rear berth is on the right. the rear berth has both natural and electric light, TV, plenty of storage and circulating fan. Immediately adjacent to the rear berth's access is the head with standup shower, shower curtain and hand sink. The head has a macerator with pump out.
There is a large dinette with seating for six on the port side. The dinette can be converted to a double bed. Across from the dinette is the galley with two burner stove top, deep sink, microwave and coffee maker. Beneath the galley counter is a large storage area, fridge/freezer and drawers for silverware and utensils. Lighting is both natural (sliding windows along the side as well as two skylights) as well as light fixtures. For comfort there is both air conditioning and heat.
There is a large forward berth with built in storage along both sides of the hull. Natural light comes in from the sliding windows and sky light. All have screens and blackout covers. The side windows have curtains. Additional storage comes from teak drawers at the entrance to the forward berth. Within the main cabin are the access panels to electrical and air conditioning
For power, there are two 205 horsepower Alpha One V6 Mercruisers with Alpha One stern drives. The stern drives are protected from corrosion by the Mercathode System. The engines have 575 hours. There are three batteries connected to an emergency jump system with a Perko Switch. The engines can be synchronized at the helm. At the 22 degree deadrise transom, there are Bennett hydraulic trim tabs. The motors operate on approximately 18 to 20 gallons per hour at a cruising speed of 27 to 30 mph. Maximum speed for this boat is 40.
To move this boat around there is an all aluminum dual axle trailer with electric brakes, recently upgraded rub pads and a two speed manual winch.
