1990 Carver Santego 3067
- Stock #045374 -
In 1954 in a Milwaukee garage, Charles Carter and George Verhagen began building boats as a hobby and discovered a demand for quality crafted boats. Combining their names to create the Carver brand, the builder has become synonymous with roomy comfortable long distance cruisers.
The Santego is one of a generation of boats developed in the 1990's which were the precursors to today's Carver yachts. From the broad swim platform to the functional cockpit you move forward to the interior and see settees to port and starboard. A galley intended to make the chief cook comfortable. The expansive v-berth may be closed off with a folding door. The fly bridge is completely enclosed in a custom constructed sunbrella enclosure. (2011) The twin engines and stern drives with counter rotating propellers make this boat an easy handling and maneuverable cruiser.
The canvas enclosures are in great shape. The boat was hauled last year and the bottom repainted, maintenance on the engine and outdrives performed. The interior is clean.
Due to health issues the seller has decided to sell the boat and move on.
