1997 Sea Ray 240 Sundancer
** SOLD **
The discussion starts and ends with Sea Ray when it comes to single engine cruisers, and this one has the rare combo of high and dry kept, and low hours. The design on this Sea Ray 240 Sundancer gave equal importance to topside and below decks, affording more room and creating better conversation areas then any competitor. And you can predict the future, at least your free weekends.
Topside is a comfortable bench seat across the back with an aft-facing seat across, leaving plenty of room to set up the table or reduce the whole package into a giant sunpad. Along the portside is multiple seating or one large sun lounge, all within easy conversing distance with the captain. The helm is outfitted with a Garmin Fishfinder 160 Blue, a Garmin GPS map 162, and a VHF. The first-mate has easy access to the bow with steps leading up to the walk-through windshield. All of this under a large bimini.
Step in to the large cabin and sea ray does a beautiful job fitting in everything you will need for your cruise. Forward is a Convertible V-berth and dinette with dedicated storage for table and filler cushions. On the portside the galley includes a refrigerator, sink, storage, and one-burner stove. On the port-side is your pump-out marine head and in the aft is your mid-cabin with a double berth.
This boat has only had two owners, with the current owner buying it in 2004 and keeping it in high and dry. Outfitted with a Mercruiser 5.7 with only 494 hours. Other features include a stereo with 30 amp shore power, 12v outlets, TRAILER, and more.
Length Overall: 24'7" * Beam: 8'6" * Draft 18" (up) * Dry Weight: 5,300 lb. * * Fuel: 70 gal. * Water 20 gal. * Holding 28 gal. * Mercruiser 5.0 Alpha I *494 Hours
I moved this boat into high and dry in 2004, always kept up on service with most recent annual service done in March 2014. I replaced exhaust system in 2011, and throttle cables in 2012. The trailer has not been used since 04, it looks ok, but trailer being sold as is. The only things I am aware of not operational are the swim ladder, a navigation light, and 2 speakers. Everything else works great, and looks very nice.
