Like many Sea Ray models, the 340 Sundancer has aged well and continues to be a popular boat.  She is a stylish boat when she was introduced in the 1999 and she remains a handsome yacht even by today’s high-glitz standards.  Built on a deep V hull with prop pockets and a wide beam, the interior of the 340 is huge.  The salon is dominated by the huge semicircular sofa that converts into a sleeper for two.  The head is aft and offers more room than most yachts this size.  Topside, there is a helm seat and double companion seat forward,  aft and fore facing double cockpit seat, wet bar, and the settees convert into a lounge.  Additional features include a stainless steel bow roller, swim platform, and a transom door.   Seller’s change of plans dictates the sale.

The 340 Sundancer has a large cockpit, a well-appointed cabin, and a serious base power plant, to summarize Sea Ray's finest sport cruiser. Designed for entertaining on a higher scale, the 340 Sundancer features a portside wet bar. The cockpit table converts easily to a spacious sun pad by inserting the matching filler cushions. With high-quality marine-grade vinyl, every seat is amazingly comfortable, from the adjustable helm seat with flip-up thigh-rise to the full aft-facing seat with a convenient storage base and cooler. There's also comfortable aft bench seating. Other standards include a self-bailing fiberglass cockpit liner, snap-in carpet, cockpit bolsters and more. Extra gear is neatly stored in an enclosed storage compartment located in the transom wall and equipped with a gas-assisted lid. The Sea Ray 340 Sundancer is impeccably styled to a level only Sea Ray can achieve. A standard fiberglass sport spoiler and generous wood accents (including a wood-accent tilt steering wheel) conjure images of a fine yacht. At the helm, the captain has a broad dash that places everything in easy sight and reach, including illuminated weatherproof rocker switches, standard Raytheon VHF radio, digital depth finder, compass, and full backlit instrumentation with a concealed circuit breaker panel. Under the electrically operated engine hatch, the standard 310 horsepower and twin V-drives provide an exceptional ride with responsive handling, thanks in part to the heavy-duty hydraulic steering. A large sliding acrylic door opens into a cabin that accommodates up to six people on the Sea Ray 340 Sundancer: deep-pile marine carpet, floor storage, a standard TV - VCR combination, and a stereo. The forward stateroom has a full-size berth with hanging mirrored lockers, and plenty of personal storage space. The mid stateroom features Sea Ray's design in which the conversation pit converts to a private double berth. In the salon, a convertible dinette. The galley of the 340 Sundancer features all the comforts of home, including a 3.4-cubic-foot refrigerator, microwave, flush-mount two-burner electric stove, and fiberglass countertop with sink and cutting board cover to create even more usable space. The drawers and storage areas stow dishes, glasses, and flatware securely thanks to special inserts that hold them firmly in place. The fiberglass enclosed standup head with vanity provides a VacuFlush head and shower. The pressure water system and six-gallon water heater make sure that hot water is always available. A carbon monoxide monitor is standard equipment. Among the 340 Sundancer's many other conveniences are a  swim platform with concealed stainless steel ladder, dockside power, fresh water wash down, and dockside inlet concealed in the transom.

Enter the aft self –draining cockpit by way of the swim platform and transom door.  The cockpit is large and offers fore and aft facing settees that convert into a sun lounge or berth.  A removable table is stored under the aft settee and perfect for alfresco dining.  Engine room access is through the cockpit hatch that operates electrically.  Along the port side is the wet bar with storage and ice maker.  Forward and to starboard is the helm area with a double companion seat and helm seat with bolster.  The helm offers excellent visibility with all gauges and electronics within easy reach.  The windshield offers an opening vent and the entire helm is protected by a beige Sunbrella Plus bimini and enclosure.  The cockpit has a beige Sunbrella slanted curtain and a beige Sunbrella bimini as well.  The side decks are accessed easily and offer hand holds for excellent maneuverability.

Along the port side of the helm deck is a sliding door into the salon.  Down a few steps you enter the salon.  Immediately behind the steps and to starboard is entry into the aft cabin.  The Aft cabin features a cabinet with hanging locker and storage, a “U” shaped lounge area that can convert into a double berth, starboard side sliding door storage above the starboard settee and a mirror aft bulkhead.  A privacy curtain separates the aft cabin from the salon.  To port is the head a Vacu-Flush toilet, mirrored vanity with molded sink and cabinet storage.  Along the port side of the main cabin is the large galley area.  With solid surface countertops and a molded sink, that counter top space offers excellent food prep spaces and the cabinets and drawers offer excellent storage.  The galley appliances include an electric stove, microwave oven, and refrigerator/freezer.  Across and along the starboard side is a large settee with a high-low dinette table.  The settee will convert into a double berth.  There is storage outboard with cabinets and shelves.  All the way forward is the main sleeping cabin with a custom made handcrafted 7.5 inch mattress.  To starboard is a small settee and a mirrored hanging locker and along the port side is a TV cabinet, mirrored hanging locker and storage cabinets.   The headboard is mirrored and there is an opening hatch overhead.

Located along the port side of the main cabin, the galley will please even the most discriminating chef.
