Price Reduction Recently.  This Cutwater is loaded with just about every option available and far more than the Limited Package currently being offered for thousand and thousands more.

The Cutwater 28 is a sleek, good-looking sedan cruiser reminiscent of a Down East-style boat, but with fuller hull sections forward. A nice combination with a white house structure and stainless rails and trim and optional taupe/tan hull. Forward on the bow just below the anchor pulpit are LED "docking lights," a nice touch for tying up in a dark marina or looking for a mooring ball at night when it's too close to see with the spotlight. Clearly, the designers have used boats like this under real-world conditions; something that doesn't always seem to be the case.

Powered with the ultra dependable Volvo Penta D4-260 Turbo Diesel with only 236 hours. The solid proactive maintenance program insures that the boat is in top condition and ready to go. This boat was ordered lacking only 3 of the total number of options available. To say she is loaded with options would simply be an under statement. The hull color is taupe/tan which is much more durable and maintenance free rather than the navy blue or red colors. Personal circumstances make this boat available.

2016 Award

Cutwater and Ranger Tugs builder honored in Seattle

Posted on May 4th, 2016

Fluid Motion, manufacturer of Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats, was awarded manufacturer of the year in the midsize firms category at Seattle Business magazine’s Washington Manufacturing Awards on April 28 at Seattle’s Museum of Flight.

Fluid Motion is a locally owned and operated family business that sells Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats worldwide. The company operates six factories in Arlington, Monroe, Kent, and Auburn, Wash. Fluid Motion said all of the boats are designed, engineered and built in-house by 200 skilled tradespeople, including some of the most experienced boatbuilders in the Northwest.

In presenting the award, Seattle Business magazine recognized the company for launching Cutwater, a new line of boats, during the recession, and for its growth — the company quadrupled the size of the business in six years and a saw 15 percent annual growth in its workforce.

“From opening a new factory with state-of-the-art equipment to investing in new software, we are committed to continuous innovation and delivering products known for quality, style and performance,” Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats vice president Jeff Messmer said in a statement. “We’re greatly honored to be recognized for our success within the recreational boating industry and our contribution to providing manufacturing jobs in Washington.”
