HAWKSBILL is an impressive elegant vessel with exceptional pedigree. She is built of solid double planked mahogany on white oak ribs. Teak decks that are in excellent condition.

A full survey was done less than 11 months ago by Paul Hayley, a very well-known reputable wooden boat surveyor from Cape Cod. This was recently updated by him 5 months ago for insurance purposes.

Hawksbill is a safe and capable vessel to travel anywhere in the world, with easy handling, comfort. The benefits of wooden boats are they do not transmit engine vibration the way fiberglass boats do. Wooden boat owners are less likely to require knee or back surgery because there is no ride on the water as comfortable as that on a wooden boat. Plus, with a motor sailor you can just use sail if you wanted and it will always get you home.
