1987 Ocean Alexander Cockpit Motor Yacht, Rhapsody feels like home. Its unique exterior style is only matched by the vast interior spaces surrounded by the warmth of exquisitely finished honey teak. Her strength and ability to weather the roughest of seas combined with her elegant interior accented by a huge Henredon soda in the salon makes her a favorite of both men and ladies. This is a yacht built to enjoy the outside from either its spacious bridge with a custom hardtop or the large aft deck or cockpit for fishing. Even inside the water views are unobstructed, whether navigating from the pilothouse, enjoying a meal on the dinette or relaxing in the salon. You will be amazed by the space created by the designer, Ed Monk, that many much larger yachts fail to deliver. The king master suite is separated from the other staterooms by the walk-in engine room. The full width queen VPI stateroom is larger than most master suites on other yachts. A smaller twin guest room that doubles as a small office/library and the forward stateroom with a single and double bed provides adequate room for crew or additional guests. All four heads are equipped with VacuFlush systems and showers. Long cruises are a joy due to the comfortable ride that cuts through the waves and the cost efficiency of cruising at 10 to 11 knots and burn only 12 to 15 gallons per hour. Of course you can kick it up and run at 16 to 17 knots if the weather threatens or your time is more important than money or enjoyment of the time on the water. This yacht is perfect cruising for two, since its layout, visibility and equipment makes navigation and docking easy and safe. The two of you can take six guests or more if you want to convert the dinette, but the two of you alone will fall in love with yacht life on Rhapsody just like the current owners.
