Let me start by saying this Prout Manta was built in Harrismith, S. Africa.  The first owner bought the boat direct from the manufacturer in 1999 and sailed her on her own bottom back to the USA.  That alone tells you the Prout Manta is a significant blue water capable catamaran.  Built like a tank she can take you anywhere in the world in comfort and safety.  The 39 is a well-built Cat with exceptional interior room for cruising, live a board, or entertaining.  The hull design is outstanding with great lines and room for a crowd in the cockpit.  Wide side decks and an aft deck make maneuverability a breeze.  With dual Yanmar diesel engines leaving and returning the dock under powder is a cinch.

If you in the market for a sturdy, well-founded, and fun to sail catamaran or sailboat, you owe it to yourself to check out Double Bells.

You enter the cockpit from either the port or starboard side decks or up the aft transom steps.  The wide side decks make maneuvering around the entire boat a breeze.  The cockpit features a large seating areas with cushions, a fold up center aft table, adjustable helm seat and outstanding visibility 360 degrees.  Element protection is by way of the fixed factory built dodger with clear acrylic window and an overhead bimini.  The entry door into the cabin is a Dutch wood door.  The interior is beautiful with cherry cabinetry and joinery and matching fabrics.  Down a few steps and to port is the electrical panel and a storage cabinet.  To starboard is a large cabinet with the TV and the counter top lifts to reveal a chest freezer.  The main salon features a large U-shaped amidships dinette with storage under each side and storage shelving outboard.  Forward windows give the salon area outstanding natural light.  To port and down a few steps in the port side companionway.  Along the outboard side are storage cabinets and large countertop.  Inboard is the navigation station with ample storage and drawers.  All the way forward is the head complete with a shower/tub combination, sink and vanity and head.  All the way aft is a queen berth cabin with huge cabinets, hanging locker, vanity and ample storage.  Port side engine compartment access is under the berth.  Back to the main cabin and down a few steps is the galley area.  The galley encompassed both the inboard and outboard aspects and is fit to feed a crowd.  With huge countertop spaces, double sinks, ample storage and cooking appliances, the galley will enable to onboard cook to prepare just about anything.  Forward is the third cabin and features a single berth situated fore and aft and an athwartshhip single berth as sell.  All the way aft is a mirror image of the port side stateroom with the same queen size berth with engine compartment access underneath.

Located down and along the starboard side, the galley offers outstanding storage and countertop spaces that will please even the most discriminating onboard chef.
