Per the seller 11/14/15:
All equipment is original, never rebuilt and regularly serviced, generally by the builder. Props were recently lab finished, so in excellent condition. The only inoperable item is the max speed "switch". If you're unfamiliar with this, at the end of a run, or day, or whatever, it allows you to see, on the speedo, what your most recent (since last reset) top speed was. Since the boat top speed is only 100mph, I've never felt like this was of much interest, and it has no impact on the gauges or performance. The hour meters are at approx 150 now. There are no mechanical or structural issues with the boat. The trailer cost almost $25k new. The boat has always been in fresh water (Lake Mead and Lake Havasu), it's never seen salt water, though Performance Boat Magazine(?) (Bob Teague) did test a similar boat in the ocean off of Long Beach around 2008. Sorry, but I didn't keep the maintenance records. I did some of the oil/fluid/filter changes and had the water pumps changed out by a neighbor mechanic (this only happened a couple of times as it didn't really provide sufficient savings), but could ask the company if they have them, or could refer the buyer to them. The same guy that built the boat for E Ticket, left the company to focus on boat servicing, then bought the company about 3 or 4 years ago. Except for a couple of the early years, he's done all of the servicing. The boat is completely serviced annually and it will be getting a complete service in the near term (would have been done a month ago, but I went to the lake that weekend and now it's when they can pick the boat up and get it in). Also, the stereo head remote control on the steering wheel isn't always responsive. Yes, the boat has a custom fit cover that goes from the tips all the way to cover the Gibson exhaust..
I can tell you that this boat has not been a "money pit" or hole in the water that you throw money into. If regularly maintained, and driven responsibly, these 525's and out drives will last forever. As for a warranty, I wouldn't know how to make that work, as I don't know how it will be used, or whether the new owner won't pull it out of the water while the engines are running, or ignore a warning chime. I would definitely warranty the hull, the trailer, basically everything except the motors and drives as there's no way to know how they were used. Honestly, if there was a gosh and black box, I would warranty the mechanicals, but there's no way to know that the failure wasn't due to abuse or the improper manner of use. If there's another way to cover this, let me know, as I know the boat is bullet proof. I wouldn't take my family and grandkids out on the lake and up river without that confidence.
