2005 Legacy 28
The Legacy 28, with her beauty and classic lines, is a head-turner wherever she goes. She exhibits the quality of construction and attention to detail that good boat builders provide. This is a one-owner boat. She is one of the more recently built Legacy 28's, which shows in refinements such as the enlarged midship air intakes that help her turbo diesel breathe and thrive.
The Legacy 28 is for individuals who want a superior boat that is manageable, a boat that is perfect for weekend cruising but also allows you to entertain your friends in style with a very pleasant day out on the water. This Legacy 28 has been given good care. Her maintenance has been impeccable, always at a professional level and carefully documented.

Layout and Accommodations
The raised cockpit area includes two adjustable and rotating helm seats along with fixed side and stern seats with removable cushions that provide comfortable seating for 10 adults while underway and for socializing. Its storable 18"X30" varnished, solid teak cockpit table is perfect for drinks and serving lunch and is easily mounted in floor sockets at either of 2 convenient locations. The binimi top is removable and comes with separate side and aft curtains to fully enclose the cockpit area. The wraparound glass windshield has an electrically operated opening center panel for adjusting the amount of breeze while underway. A large V-berth provides overnight accommodations below. Four screened SS port lights and large overhead deck ventilate the cabin. The galley is highly functional, and includes a deep sink with pressurized hot and cold water, 2-burner gas stove, and electric refrigerator/freezer. The enclosed head area includes a lavatory and shower and full-wall mirror. At the stern, a comfortable teak swim platform with ladder provides easy access in and out of the water, and includes its own hot and cold pressurized shower for fresh water rinse downs. Indirect lighting on the deck level augments beautiful evenings under the stars. The cabin and engine room have generous and flexible cabin lighting. An electrically or manually powered windlass at the bow helps retrieve the anchor. A hose with spray nozzle, stored at the bow below deck, provide the anchor and line a pressurized saltwater rinse down.
