2004 Endeavour Catamaran Corp. 44' Trawlercat
Perhaps you saw her at the Looper Crawl during the 2012 Fall Rendezvous at Joe Wheeler, or the 2013 Spring Rendezvous in Norfolk. She was also the featured boat at the Endeavour display during the Baltimore TrawlerFest this fall. Rock Chalk is a 2004 Endeavour 44 TrawlerCat. She safely and comfortably carried us through the Great Loop in 2011-12, then the Florida Keys, and on to the Abacos, Eleuthera, and the Exumas. This past summer we took Rock Chalk back north to explore Lake Champlain, the St. Lawrence River, and then on to the Richeleiu and Chambly Canals, and the spectacular Rideau Canal. You can do it all. This boat has unique features seldom found in one trawler. She has a 3 ft. draft, a 15 ft. air draft, and the incredible comfort and space of a power catamaran. She has 3 staterooms, 2 heads, a full galley that includes a dishwasher, washer/dryer vacuum system, Follow me TV, and a 32 in. Sony flatscreen color TV. She has a watermaker, and four 110 watt solar panels to keep her 4 house batteries topped up. If that is not enough then you can turn on the 6KW Northern Lights generator to keep you comfortable. Rock Chalk has had a full electronics update with a new Raymarine Widescreen Chartplotter, Digital Radar, and AIS (trans/rec). She has two new Cruisair 16,000 BTU air conditioners, a new NovaKool refrigerator/freezer, and a Kuuma 11 gal. water heater. She has had many other new features and improvements made to her over the last four years as well. Endeavours are known for their economical cruising. Powered by twin 240 HP Yanmar Turbo Diesels, Rock Chalk will cruise easily at 9 mph with a 2.5 gal/hour fuel burn. However, many times in cruising you need some speed, and the Endeavour can deliver a comfortable 17 mph while maintaining a still economical 15 gal/hr. fuel burn. Rock Chalk also has an Endeavour manufactured dinghy that hangs from a unique Davit system on the stern of the boat. The dinghy is easy to launch utilizing an electric winch, is extremely stable and is powered by a 15 hp outboard. There are many other features, too numerous to list here. I would be happy to give you full details including our four year fuel log, and my detailed service and maintenance log. Rock Chalk was professionally maintained including the Yanmar recommended 2000 hour complete service, and then the 3000 hour service, all completed by the Florida Yanmar dealer, Whiticar Boatyard in Stuart. This is an incredible opportunity to finally get the boat of your dreams to complete the Great Loop and all your cruising destinations.
