Carl Alberg Designed Pearson 35! Awesome Craftsmanship!

1965 PEARSON 35 ALBERG 35!!!

Carl Alberg was a great boat designer, notable for the efficiency of his designs. This boat was built by PEARSON Yachts, using hand laid up fiberglass.

Master cabin forward has V berth, dresser with drawers, hanging locker and 4 drawers under bunks.

Aft of forward cabin, there is a new head with a 10 gallon holding tank and shower. Hot water system throughout the boat. In the port side there is a stainless steel sink with cabinet under - opposite the head. There are two doors for privacy to the head and forward cabin.

The main cabin has two sizeable bunk-seats with two drawers under. The dining table falls down from the bulkhead and is inlaid with colorful hardwood. At the end of the starboard bunk is a fold down chart table and navigational instruments above. On the port side end of bunk is a fold down counter extension writing table. Aft, there is a U shape galley. There is also a CD, FM radio with speakers. All drawers and cabinet doors are teak.

GALLEY: Three burner stove, oven using propane with solenoid shutoff. There is also a stainless steel sink with pressurized water, backed by a foot pump with plenty of drawers and cabinets for food storage.

ENGINE: Yanmar 20 h.p. 3GM30F Diesel, 3 cyl. with fresh water cooling. This engine was replaced about seven years ago and has only 750 hours. Two automatic bilge pumps.

RIGGING: Deck stepped aluminum mast, double back stays and baby stay in addition to a standard staying. Hood Roller Furling, two reefing points on boom roller furling. Spinnaker pole. On top of cabin house there is a support for a nesting dinghy. Four winches in cockpit and two on mast.

ANCHORS: Three anchors with chain and rode. CQR, Bruce and large Danforth. There is also a manual windlass and bow roller.

VHF Radio, Loran, SSB Radio, Garmin GPS and a Depth Sounder. On the cockpit there is a 5" compass, second depth sounder, and First Mate Tiller auto-pilot. Two 30 amp shore power cords.

ConditionThe seller has not been able to fully maintain the boat so there is some TLC that will have to be performed to bring her up to par. There are no known mechanical or structural issues. This is a great deal if you can put a little work into her!

Seller Notes: "I am pretty sure the 12 volt wiring might need a few replacements, however the 110 volt is in working condition. It is a fairly new diesel Yanmar with less than 800 hours. The 12 volt batteries were not worth keeping so I discarded them because a new owner I think they would like to put their own choice of batteries in. The upper part of the hull needs a good wash down and waxing and the deck needs a little repair and prep prior painting.

There is a small section, approx. 2' by 4' of deck that needs fiberglassing. I preped it but was niot able to do the finishing.

The Pearson is considered a very well built boat and if a prospective buyer is willing to do a bit of work it will be a good buy."

Sweet boat that will not last long! Please make an inquiry or call for more information, to set a showing or make an offer!
