Beautiful Custom Made Trawler / New Bottom paint and hull paint / Ready to go /

This beautiful custom built trawler is a rare and unique cruise ready trawler. Custom designed by John Alden and built in Maine by Morse Boat building in 1969. Built solid with White Oak frames and Mahogany planks.

She comfortably sleeps four adults with an aft cabin and forward V-berth. Galley/salon includes refrigerator, propane stove/oven, wood burning fireplace and lower steering station. She also has a large flybridge with upper steering station and brand new Sunbrella bimini top.

In November of 2015 the boat had a complete hull and bottom job including all seams, fasteners and planks checked and replaced as needed from the cap rail to the keel, leaving the entire hull in a like new condition. Hull above the waterline was completely repainted with Interlux paint. Hull below the waterline was painted with Petit Ultima antifouling Paint. All new zincs November 2015.

She was repowered in 1990 with a 1987 Cummins 6BT-5.9 - Turbo, 359 CID, 6 Cylinder inline diesel engine.

This boat is fully equipped with 3.5 KW Phasor generator, Ocean Breeze air conditioner/ heater (new in 2013) Furuno Radar, Garmin 540-S GPS plotter, Com-Nav autopilot, 2 DSC VHF Radios, 270 gallon fuel capacity, 400 gallon freshwater capacity, 2 heads (1 Electric) with a 30 gallon holding tank, 2 electric bilge pumps and all Coast Guard required equipment.

Bridge clearance is 21 ft with antenna down and 31 ft. with antenna up

Recent upgrades include:

Her cruising ability has been proved with owners who have cruised everywhere from Maine to the Bahamas. Current owner is an experienced maritime academy graduate who currently works as a mate aboard commercial tugboats. The boat has been well maintained and kept in freshwater in a fully covered slip.
