Founded in 1936 in Kelso, Washington, by Robert Merland Tollefson (better known as Tolly), Tollycraft was known as a builders of fine quality cruising boats well suited to the waters of the Pacific Northwest. While the company was not a large manufacturer, its hand-built boats were prized for their attention to detail, and that quality garnered the brand many loyal fans. In fact, the boats timeless design and solid construction has spawned Tollycraft Clubs around the world to share their enthusiasm for the brand.
The Tollycraft 40' Tri-Cabin remains one of the most desirable aft-cabin cruisers to be found on the market today. Tolly packed a lot of living space inside this 40 footer including two heads, a complete lower helm station with a convenient deck access door, and even some useful storage space. Her large salon windows provide plenty of natural lighting. Visibility from the lower helm is excellent. Safety railings provide extra security around the aft deck, and there's seating on the flybridge for up to 8.
