2006 Grady-White 258 Journey
The boat is a 2006 258 Grady-White Journey walk around.
This is a one owner boat, me and my wife.
It has been impeccably maintained. It gets a bath on a regular basis and gets compounded and waxed twice a year
Electronics are a C80 Raymarine GPS and chart plotter along with a Raymarine autopilot. An Icom vhf radio is overhead. I disconnected the dink electric horn and installed a twin trumpet air horn so if you blow the horn people think a 50’ boat is coming.
There is a 40 amp Charles Marine Products marine UL battery charger with a shore power connection. Also a 300 watt inverter with an external outlet installed. New batteries were installed recently.
The boat has a current US Power Squadron / US Coast Guard Auxiliary Vessel Safety sticker displayed and the required current safety equipment will stay with the boat.
The name will stay with me so I will have it removed at my expense.
The interior cushions were used once and have been in storage ever since so they are as good as new.
The head has never been used as the boat has always been a day boat.
All the onboard systems work as new.
Just as an extra my Grady has the driest bilge of any boat I have ever owned including my 19’ Boston Whaler. The scupper system will handle the worst thunder boomer you can imagine. My neighbor across the canal has a 33’ Contender and every time it rains his bilge pumps run nonstop.
Full Isinglass around the front. Rear drop overnight cover. Full rear deck Sunbrella cover.
Yes the boat stays in the water. I had the bottom painted very recently and a diver cleans it every other month.
2007 250hp 4 stroke. 560 hours. It lights up first time every time. The engine cowling was just repainted and brand new decals were attached. I defy anyone to distinguish my engine from a brand new one. The prop was just rebalanced and polished.
2011 Rocket aluminum I-beam frame trailer with drive up guides. Aluminum mag wheels with a spare to match. The bunk board carpet was done last week so it is brand new. 8,000 lb Powerwinch with a 5,000 lb two speed hand crank back up. The trailer winches have a full Sunbrella cover.
It follows my ½ ton Suburban very comfortably. You will not set any speed records and forget about gas mileage.
We have $100,000+ invested in this boat but we have priceless good times to remember. All the work is documented and receipts are available. We are just ready to move up to a 30 or 33 for the creature comforts.
Our asking price is $59,900 and we probably will not budge too much as we are quite happy with the 25.
I will deliver this boat anywhere in FL included in the price.
