General Details

****$36,000.00 PRICE REDUCTION!!!**** This Hans Christian single screw trawler with hydraulic bow and stern thruster looks younger than its age, as it received an entire paint job in 2002. The hull is deep claret and the topsides are off white. Just a little bit of varnish on the cap rail adds a classic touch with less upkeep.

The interior of this Hans Christian is in excellent condition and is beautifully done in teak by expert crftsman. Unlike the newer Cherubini trawlers of the same design, this boat has an all teak interior with incredible woodwork, instead of the newer laminates with only the trim in teak.

The hull is deep claret and the topsides are off white. Just a little bit of varnish on the cap rail adds a classic touch with less upkeep. The interior of this Hans Christian is in excellent condition and is beautifully done in teak by expert craftsman. Unlike the newer Cherubini trawlers of the same design, this boat has an all teak interior with incredible woodwork, instead of the newer laminates with only the trim in teak. The main salon is full beam, with overly large windows to give the impression of a much larger boat, the teak and holly sole which has recently been refinished gleams with a high gloss. The windows that are spaced across the entire aft end of the salon are ones that will open, along with the opening window in the door. With the numerous hatches forward, there can be good ventilation at the hook. There are pleated shades for these aft windows and partial curtains for the large side windows. The ā€œLā€ shape settee with dinette area is to port and has a table with two folding leafs, to is ready for cruising and is a head turner in any harbor.
Salon
The main salon is full beam, with overly large windows to give the impression of a much larger boat, the teak and holly sole which has recently been refinished gleams with a high gloss. The windows that are spaced across the entire aft end of the salon are ones that will open, along with the opening window in the door. With the numerous hatches forward, there can be good ventilation at the hook. There are pleated shades for these aft windows and partial curtains for the large side windows. The ā€œLā€ shape settee with dinette area is to port and has a table with two folding leafs, to make for easier access. Across on the starboard side are two reclining chairs. Forward of this area is the galley with gas stove with oven, 12volt refrigerator, microwave, louvered doors on the cabinets and good storage. The sink is a stainless double and there are storage compartments in the counter. Unlike many other boats that have a headliner of vinyl or cloth, the overhead of the whole salon and galley is tongue and groove white painted wood for a traditional salty look. The support beams for the overhead have varnished teak battens.
Master Stateroom
Forward is the master stateroom with a centerline queen berth. The same tongue and groove overheads and varnished teak tongue and grove on the sides of the stateroom carry forward the traditional salty look. Deck prisms and a large hatch let in natural light. The ensuite head has a tiled shower.
Staterooms
Only a few steps down and forward is access to the staterooms. Unlike many other trawlers with long steep stairs to get below, there are only four steps here. The guest head is to starboard with a varnished teak and holly cover over the toilet, a stainless sink and a tile shower. The guest stateroom is versatile with a couch that converts to a double berth. There is a desk here with a very well designed seat that swivels and swings out of the way. Lots of bookshelves, drawers and a large lighted hanging locker make storage easier.
Pilothouse
Only a few steps up from the salon and galley is the pilothouse. The bench seat with folding table makes a great place for charts or to have lunch. The electronics are laid out nicely to check at a glance. Throttle and gear shift are traditional cable for ease of maintenance, and there is a large hatch overhead for ventilation and light. The two side doors give easy deck access, especially for docking. With the bowthruster, docking can be a breeze. The thruster is hydraulic instead of electric, so worries of overheating the thruster when needed are eliminated.
Deck / Hull / Ground Tackle
The forward deck of this coastal cruiser has wide walking areas to easily get forward to handle lines, and high bulwarks with rail for security. The non-skid is a diamond pattern and the since the entire boat was painted a few years ago the decks look great. The aft cockpit is covered with teak, just a small area to maintain, and the cockpit itself is covered to keep some of the sun off, and if the aft windows are open, the overhang will keep the rain out. A big transom door gives access to the wide swim platform. Showing its Hans Christian sailboat heritage, there are stainless steel dorades for ventilation. Additional Info
Above the main salon is the boat deck with davit and a hard bottom inflatable with recent four stroke outboard. The floor of the main salon has many hatches for complete access to the engine compartment. This compartment is one of the cleanest ones I have seen on a boat with out a full time crew, you can get all around the engine without getting dirty, and you can get access all around the engine room, and the systems are easily serviced. The hull design is traditional full length keel for prop protection; the rubrails on the sides of the boat are backed by teak to give them extra heft for protection at the dock. This little yacht is ready for cruising and is a head turner in any harbor.
