- The Dorado 23 LE has a very sharp entry forward (40 degrees) letting her slice instead of pound through the waves. And with a fairly flat trailing edge anglers get stability while anchored or trolling. The Dorado 23 is excessively quiet due to the extensive foam coring in her construction. This keeps wavelet "slapping" to a minimum while fishing. And since the 23 draws a scant 10 inches, poling in the back country is not a back breaking exercise. Serious fishing boats require ample storage and there's not a flats boat or shallow draft center console in the industry with as much useable storage space. The entire deck is built with 16 separate compartments, up to 4 of which can be live or release wells. And at 23 feet, this boat can easily fly fish two anglers, or plug cast up to four. The same deck layout that gives you unparalleled inshore fishing room works offshore. A smooth and stable ride and lots of storage, coupled with livewells and insulated fish boxes, make the Dorado 23 an ideal offshore fishing boat.
