THIS FRESHLY PAINTED 1995 CONTENDER 31 IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH 2008 ENGINES! PRICE IS FIRM!
This is a great opportunity to purchase a 60 mph 31' Contender for a fraction of the cost. The boat is ready to run.
2004 RAYAMARINE COLOR GPS, COLOR CHART PLOTTER, AND STANDARD VHF ALL NETWORKED WITH DISTRESS BUTTON ON VHF THAT WILL REPORT POSITION.
2008 VERADO 300'S WITH AROUND 350 HOURS. ONE ENGINE IS DOCUMENTED WITH A NEW POWER HEAD, I DON'T HAVE PROOF OF THE OTHER POWERHEAD BEING REPLACED BUT BOTH ENGINE COMPUTER RUN HISTORIES WERE RESET AT SIMILAR TIMES.
ONE ENGINE SHOWS 331.8 HOURS WITH 275.6 OF THOSE HOURS BELOW 1500 RPM. THE OTHER ENGINE SHOWS 345.2 WITH 286.2 BELOW 1500 RPM. THE COMPUTERS HAVE A TOTAL TIME OF 2378.5 AND 2524.2, BUT THIS TIME WOULD ONLY BE ON THE MIDSECTIONS, SINCE THE LOWER UNITS WERE ALSO REPLACED WITH COMMERCIAL LOWER UNITS ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO.
The boat was painted inside and out with Awlcraft 2000 Matterhorn White. The canvas top and seat cushion have both been replaced.
This boat is currently set up as a cruising boat and does not have ANY fishing equipment. No livewell, rod holders, outriggers, etc. If you wanted to add a livewell, I spoke to Contender and they suggest purchasing a leaning post with one inside because you do not want to put any weight aft with the larger engines. We use bean bags for the kids.
This boat has been bottom painted although it never sat in the water for any extended amount of time.
The trailer is road worthy and we have towed the boat a couple hunded miles with it. That does not mean that it is a very pretty trailer or it doesn't need work for everyday use.
The boat is available for a seatrial, and currently is about 1/2 full of fuel.
There is an ass for every seat so just because you are a fisherman and can't understand why a Contender would not be rigged for fishing, please don't insult me. We dive and want a good cruising boat.
