INTRODUCTION
VALHALLA has only had three owners and is a keel and centerboard Stoway sloop set-up for shorthanded sailing.  She sleeps seven in her reverse-cycle, air-conditioned Dinette layout with Nav Station, has many custom features and has been continually upgraded. She has many custom features such as: Additional overhead clearance Two additional dorade ventilators Generator Additional Espar heater Dual GPS and dual Chart plotters Burglar alarm Recent Improvements - include new 2012 Hood main and genoa sails.
HULL AND DECK
Flag Green Awlgrip topsides - with clear Awlgrip topcoat White house and deck, with Cloud Grey nonskid molded into deck Gold Leaf cove stripe and hail White Boot Stripe Red Bottom  Construction: Hand laid fiberglass deck and hull: Hull is cored with Airex for additional strength per weight and deleted and reinforced in all high stress areas.  Integrated mast step and engine mounts form a single unit that is strong and light. Hull laminate is fabricated of unidirectional glass for a better strength per weight ratio. Deck is set in a 6” flange on the hull, then fiberglassed and bolted in place. Shoal draft keel with fiberglass centerboard with bronze leading edge Centerboard is operated from the cockpit with pennant and winch. Draft:  5’- board up,  9’1”- board down Marelon thru-hulls, bronze seacocks and plugs for seacocks Guard rail - Teak and stainless steel guard rail at sheer  Deck Features: Polished stainless steel stemhead with integral mooring chocks; bow roller chock Stainless steel bow pulpit and stern pulpit, with teak step stern boarding ladder incorporated Stainless steel stanchions with double lifelines and port and starboard gates (4) Four cowl vents in dorade boxes topped in white plexiglass-top, with flush cowl vent closures. Cowl vent interiors repainted red in 2012. Custom large cowl chain locker ventilator   (2) Large cabin top hatches with white plexiglass hatch covers and screens Bow ventilator and (2) two opening ports Deck hardware includes springline cleats Varnished teak exterior trim including handrails 12-volt watertight outlet in forward dorade
COCKPIT
Large comfortable T-shaped cockpit is well laid-out for large crew or shorthanded sailing with a pair of #32 Barient electric winches within reach of helmsman and additional pair forward for use by crew.  The cockpit dodger provides protection and visibility unobscured from the helm. Varnished teak-lined interior cockpit coaming and cap White Sunbrella dodger (new 2011) – has front and side windows and stainless steel elkhide covered grab rail. Two Cockpit awnings (one is Sunbrella, other is Weblon) - both zip to dodger and provide additional protection from the sun and foul weather elements respectively. INTERIOR ACCOMMODATIONS
VALHALLA sleeps 7 in two cabins.  Cockpit companionway, windows and opening ports and hatches provide natural light and ventilation.  The interior is satin-varnished mahogany, with white overhead. The teak and holly cabin sole is satin urethane varnish. Varnished teak handrails throughout the interior Port and starboard handrails at companionway. Interior cushions are finished in Green fabric. Curtains throughout. Opening port in the head. Access to the forward partitioned chain locker. Interior lighting throughout is by Ocean Frigast fixtures and additional dome light Fans Interior comfort is maintained by: Espar D3L diesel heater – with outlets in forward cabin, main cabin and head Reverse-cycle Lunaire heat/air conditioning.  Interior Walk-through: Access is from the cockpit, down a companionway ladder that can be stored up and out of the way.  The companionway enters the aft Main Cabin with the Galley, Quarterberth, Nav Station and Salon. Galley – aft to port Aft Quarterberth - aft starboard Nav Station – Next starboard forward Main Salon – with Dinette to port and entertainment center starboard Private Head – next forward to port Forward Owner’s Stateroom  Entertainment electronics:  Kenwood MVP619 Stereo and CD with (2) ADS interior speakers and two exterior speakers (for the cockpit)  Forward Cabin: Starting forward, the Owner Stateroom has: V-berth forward – berths are custom 4” longer from standard Insert to form a double berth. Forward is cedar-lined hanging locker, across from the head.
