This great 43' sailing yacht was built by New Orleans Marine and is currently located in  Sonora Mexico. She will sleep four owners and guest in comfort whether racing or cruising. 

This spectacular example of fine craftsmanship is a 1980, 43 foot sailing ship. She makes you want to climb aboard and enjoy life while cruising in style.  Once on board you will not want to leave.  Designed in 1980 to compete in the Southern Ocean Racing Conference, Lone Star was built by New Orleans Marine for Mr. Burt Benjamin, her first owner. The hull was hand laid with Aramid fiber and a new epoxy composite, strengthened with Airex foam-filled horizontal and vertical ribs with a raised wedgeshaped balsa core deck. She has been meticulously converted to be a very well detailed cruiser. 

As you can see all areas of her have been upgraded and retrofitted to make her comfortable and efficient to cruise wherever you might desire to explore. The rich interior woods which are warm and functional along with new patterns and fabrics. Definitely a comfortable interior that was tastefully done.  There has been a lot of thought and design implementation to bring her to the level of proficiency she is at today. 

She has an amazing sail inventory whether coastal or offshore sailing and good solid ground tackle.  For the skilled sailor cruise this yacht anywhere in the world.  She has been well outfitted with extensive electronics including an Power Bright Inverter, Garmin Chartplotter,  Furuno Radar,  ICON 725 ham/single side band radio, depth finder, VHF Radio, complete gauges  and much more.  She has also had NEW in 2003: 65HP Pathfinder 4-cylinder diesel engine; remote oil filter; Fram fuel filter and water separator; no-spill oil changer. LESS THAN 500 HOURS.
