Vessel Walkthrough
The standard 53’ Carver layout is both practical and well laid out. Entering via the swim platform, one can go through the transom door onto the aft deck which is spacious enough for loose seating. The curved trend door gives access to the spacious salon with an L shaped settee to the starboard and a love seat to port. Next forward on the port side is the open and complete galley; the yacht’s entertainment center is in this area. Up two steps to starboard is the surprisingly spacious lower helm and curved settee. A side door to starboard gives access to the side and fore deck. Next forward are six steps leading to the accommodations below. The master is amid ship with a private head. Forward is the VIP and between are an upper/lower guest cabin to port and a guest head to the starboard side. The spacious fly bridge is reached via the pilothouse or aft deck steps. Salon The Salon of the Knot Fore Sail is entered via a curved trend stainless steel door on the port side. Immediately upon entering to port is a two person ultra-leather love seat that converts into a single berth. To starboard is a matching L-shaped settee that has two “incliners” on the outboard side. In front of the settee is a cherry hi-lo table with a leaf to fold out to double its size. Just forward of the settee is a built in cherry end table with a subwoofer, two storage shelves and an avonite top. Both sides of the salon have three panel side deck windows covered with cherry blinds. The large aft salon door has full drapes. The salon is open to the galley area next forward. Also in the salon are 8 halogen 110V mini-spots, 6 DC lights in the soffit, four Bose mini cube stereo speakers, a CO monitor, a clock and barometer, digital AC controls and a carpet runner. Although technically located in the galley, the entertainment center that faces the salon consists of an RCA 26” TV, a Harmon Kardon AVR-100 audio/video receiver, a Harmon Kardon FL8370 5 disc CD player, a JVC VHS player, a Hitachi DVD player, a Sony Direct TV plus receiver and the KVH Gyrotrac antenna controller for the SAT TV. Galley The galley is open to the salon and on the port side. It is U-shaped and has the following equipment: Avonite two level countertops Corian flush mounted sinks with Avonite cover Two tone sink fixture Sharp Carosel Grill 2 Microwave/Convection oven Princess Gourmet 3 burner ceramic top cooktop Central vacuum outlet Subzero under counter refrigerator with cherry front Subzero under counter freezer with cherry front Built-in Black & Decker coffee maker Exhaust fan over cook top (2) Work lights over cook top Cherry planked sole Stainless steel backsplash around cootop Open wine storage (10) Cherry cabinet doors (4) Cherry cabinet doors (3) Halogen mini-spots above Storage cabinets above galley with sea rods   Pilothouse The pilothouse is up two steps on the starboard side.
