The Cape Fisherman Lite Tackle Edition was designed and built for the North Carolina False Albacore fly fishing fishery. They just happen to be superb boats for the North East near shore fishery whether you are chasing blue fin off Point Judith or fishing stripers in the Nantucket rips.

There is no T Top. All deck cleats and the bow light are pop up, deck hatches are flush, no bow rail; all features designed to keep fly lines running free. There is storage for 9’ fly rods under the gunwale or in the console rod holders. This is a boat that is built for fly fishermen.

All Jones Brothers boats are 100% composite construction with a fiberglass grid system. They are built light and strong, and easily trailered.

But do not let the fly fishing cache fool you. She is a easily driven economical hull that is well suited for conventional fishing as well. She has a good live well, tackle station, and gunwale rod holders to make a Tog or Fluke angler happy.
