General Details

Well cared for 2004 280 Sundancer by Sea Ray. Only 330 hours & 25 hours on the generator. Equipped with A/C & heat, VHF, TV/DVD, Hot Water heater, Stereo w/ CD changer & cockpit remote.  Automatic fire suppression system, windlass anchor, remote spotlight, Vacuflush head, cockpit wet bar with built in self-draining ice chest, snap-in cockpit carpet, camper canvas and full galley are just a few more of the many features that made 280 Sundancer's such a home run for Sea Ray!

280 Sundancer's has the ride of a much large boat. It feels solid and stable even in high seas or at anchor.

When it comes to boats of this class you don't want to be in anything but the best. A 280 Sundancer is hands down "best in class".

Drives have been removed and fully serviced 6 months ago. Engines, 5KW generation were fully serviced and new bottom paint was also applied at the same time.

280 Sundancer's are famous for there versatile cockpit layout. Aft benchseat can be folded away for fishing or dancing. Also it has a aft facing bench seat that converts into a two person sun lounge. You also have another lounger/bench seat across from the helm.

This 280 Sundancer is Powered by twin Mercruiser 5 liter 260hp V8s with Bravo 3 drives. This was the top power option for the 280 Sundancer's. With these engines she has a top speed of over 40 mph!

I've sold many 280s in the last ten years. Most were powered by twin 4.3 liter V6 engines. The V6 engines are only .7 of a liter smaller then the 5.0 liter V8s.

Fuel burn rates for V6 vs.V8 280s are within a gallon per hour at cruising speed.

V8 280s come on plane much quicker and run at a lower RPM while cruising at the same speed as a V6 boat. This equates to a much longer life span for your engiens! Plus If your filling the need for speed these V8s will get you flying across the water!

If you plan on taking your new boat to lakes that are 1000 feet or more above sea level these V8s are a must. engines lose 3% power for every 1000 of elevation rise.

A aluminum trailer is available with this boat for $3500.00 extra

Owner has just moved up to a Sea Ray 340 Sundancer and wants this one gone! Don't miss out!
