General Details

This shoal draft wing keel Hunter 27 has been in dry storage or fresh water up until 5/'11 and then saltwater after that. She has been lightly used with low hours and is in great shape. With all roller furling she is easy to sail and single hand. For her size she is set up to be a comfortable and stylish pocket cruiser. She had a recent bottom job in 6/'12. Beginning first forward is the anchor rode lock accessed via a hatch in the deck. Next aft is the "V" berth area with vinyl hull coverings and headliner. The "V" berth mattresses fold out onto the top of the salon settees when in use. Next aft separated by a plywood bulkhead covered in simulated Cherry wood laminate is the main salon/galley. Their are port and stbd. settees with storage under facing a simulated Cherry wood laminate drop leaf dinning table. The mast is deck stepped with its polished stainless steel compression post helping to support the table. The hull side closeout panels are simulated Cherry wood laminate over plywood with solid wood trim. The soles are simulated Teak and Holly laminate over plywood. There is a small work surface to port aft with cabinets and the galley area is to stbd. aft of the settees. The galley counter is Formica with a stainless steel sink. There is cabinetry and storage as well as a 12 volt cooler that slides inboard out from under the galley sink. There is a two burner (half 120 Volt electric and half propane) stove. Next aft to stbd. is entry into the aft cabin which has a large thwart ship double bunk in the crawl space under the cockpit. The electric panels are in this cabin and there is a small hanging locker as well. There is a hatch in the stbd. aft cockpit seat bottom to provide ventilation for the aft cabin. The aft cabin has vinyl headliners and hull coverings with simulated Cherry laminate accents. To port aft of the salon is the head with a hand pump toilet and diverter type "telephone" shower. There is a small vanity and sink. The head is an FRP liner unit type compartment fully waterproof. The engine is under the cockpit on the centerline accessed via lifting the hinged companionway step unit up. The cockpit is last aft and is spacious with a fold away destroyer helm. The transom is last with a "sugar scoop" type swim boarding area. The interior is in good condition with the soft goods like new. The companionway is closed of by Starboard and Lexan drop boards and a locking FRP hatch slide.
12 volt electric start Yanmar 2YM15 14 Hp fresh water cooled diesel engine. Direct line drive through gear box to stainless steel shaft to 2 bladed prop. Flexible engine mounts.
Sails & Rigging
B & R type fractional sloop rig. US SPARS deck stepped mast and boom with line drive type in mast roller furler for main. Schaeffer Snap Furl 700 jib furler head stay. 1 x 19 stainless steel wire standing rigging with swage terminal fittings. Doyle roller furling main and 135% Genoa. Dacron braid running rigging. 4 x Lewmar S.S. self tailing #30 winches (2 jib sheet) and (2 halyard). Harken blocks, fairlead cars, and tracks. Rigid boom vang. Mainsheet traveler in cockpit. 2 winch handles. Spinlock line stoppers (all lines lead aft to cockpit).    
Steering & Control
Lewmar helm pedestal with 32" folding destroyer wheel, chain and cable steering, and folding table. Lewmar single lever engine controls.
Fuel System
15 USG Duracst fuel tank under cockpit. 12 volt fuel level gauge. Flush type stainless steel fuel vent fitting.
Electrical System
12 volt D.C. and 120 volt A.C. shorepower. 2 x maintenance free 12 volt batteries. Xantrex 20 amp 12 volt solid state battery charger. A.C. and D.C. circuit breaker panels in aft cabin. Shorepower reversed polarity indicator. 12 volt analog battery voltage meter. 4 way battery shut off switch. 12 volt outlet in aft cabin. 12 volt overhead and swivel reading lighting. 12 volt Nav. lighting. 120 volt 30 amp shore power cable and entrance connection on stern. 60 amp engine alternator.

20 USG Duracast tank in bow. 12 volt demand type water pressure pump. Galley sink faucets and head faucet/shower wand. 5 USG stainless steel water heater 120 volt and engine heat exchange in engine compartment. Aft deck shower. Shore water pressure connection.
Bilge System
12 volt Rule 750 GPH automatic/manual bilge pump in keel sump. High water alarm in cockpit with test switch. Diaphram type hand bilge pump in cockpit.

Danforth 13 # anchor. 1/4" galvanised chain. 1/2" three starnd rode (aprox. 150' total with chain). Recessed anchor rode locker fwd. Single anchor roller.
