General Details
This vessel is as well maintained as any I have seen and is ready for a new owner to step on board and take her anywhere your heart desires.
Entering this vessel from the spacious cockpit one is struck by the beautiful teak interior. The Salon is well appointed with a starboard dinette which converts to a double berth. Through the forward companionway is a stateroom to accommodate two guests with their own private head and shower.
Aft and to port is a very comfortable and well equipped navigation station.
Further aft to port is a beautiful galley with a 2 burner propane gimbaled stove with oven, SS Sink, Refrigerator and Freezer chests and microwave.
Passing through the galley you enter the master state room with queen berth and starboard private head and shower.
What makes Imagine different from other Beneteau 40s is the design of the steering. This vessel has the usual helm and binnacle moved to starboard, right of the companionway hatch, to allow easy access to all of the sail controls. The controls are all brought back to the cockpit to port and are accessible through rope clutches attached to the roof of the port cabin thus making the boat easy to single hand on those long trips where weary crews need their rest.
This configuration also makes the cockpit seating area larger than other Beneteau 40 CCs and makes room for a pedestal table that can be set up in the cockpit for those occasional cocktail hours topside on those cool tropical evenings.
The vessel is also equipped with a hard dodger to protect the crew from the harsh elements of the sea while still affording the captain a crystal clear view.
