The Marine Trader line of trawlers and motor yachts are very well built and heavily constructed semi-displacement and displacement vessels which are still in production today. The 50 Motor Yacht is the largest in the line with a very comfortable liveaboard capacity, extended cruising, and /or entertaining abilities. With her triple cabin layout she has the ability to comfortably sleep 6-8 adults with private heads/showers and complete privacy. The huge bridge and large after deck, allows for various entertainment/privacy accommodations. With the twin Lehman 150hp. turbo diesel engines she is capable of 7-8kt. cruising speeds.
This 1981 Marine Trader 50’ Motor Yacht, is in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION overall, per last survey. Although, she is now 32 years old and she has been meticulously maintained or updated over the years (i.e. newer epoxy barrier coated bottom, newer exterior paint, newer interior systems and engine hoses and lines, etc.), is clean from the bridge deck to the bilges, is equipped with an above average selection of electronics (some newer) radar, has newer canvas, a 2002 Zodiac Jet tender, davit system, bow thruster, satellite TV receiver, and numerous systems updates (i.e. heads, ice maker, refrigerator, etc). The engines and generator have reportedly above average indicated hours (See engine reports). This vessel is clean and well maintain inside and out, shows no indications of previous damage, and shows pride of ownership from experienced boaters and/or professional maintenance.
