General Details

The Beneteau 50 is a quality production boat built to high standards. This Cruiser-Racer is characterized by a modern contemporary line, and an interior design which offers maximum comfort, relaxation and luxury. Numerous hatches and generous individual areas make the interior very bright and spacious. On deck everything is excellently laid out with a sophisticated arrangement of winches and jammers. All Reefing can be controlled from the cockpit with no need to go forward. The sailing qualities of the already fast design by Bruce Farr have been optimized with an extension of the keel and spade rudder. Further customization for the owner included large electric Genoa winches which make sailing much more comfortable and easy. With the watermaker, solar panels, new generator and an increased capacity for diesel it is fair to say this yacht is self-sufficient and for its full range of equipment is ready to cross the Atlantic/Pacific or simply to live aboard totally relaxed. The yacht was purchased new by the current owner and has been maintained and sailed exclusively for personal use and has never chartered. She has sailed from Croatia via the Canary Islands to the Caribbean and is now in Panama awaiting a new owner to enjoy her ultimate sailing performance.
