General Details

The Irwin 52 is a superb blend of good looks and abundant cruising comforts.  She has had continual mechanical updating, but now needs lots of cosmetic updating. Major refit in 2005 of $180K,   Powered by the optional six cylinder in line Perkins 6-354, she is fresh water cooled, has a 12kw Northern Lights Generator, New Standard Horizon GPS/Chart Plotter at the helm.

All Heads have been replaced, New Cockpit Cushions, New Salon Cushions, and updated 110V Refrigeration.  She has Harken Roller Furling, Blue Sail Covers and a Beautiful Gulf Stream Blue Hull, New Bimini, and soon to come, New Varnish.  The last survey indicates she is in good condition, just needs finishing touches cosmetically.

Gypsie’s wide beam offers a pleasing, comfortable atmosphere with plenty of room for the three staterooms and three new heads, as well as a port side booth dinette  that converts to a double if needed. The Dinghy is an Avon RIB with Yamaha 4 Stroke Engine, she has Three 15,000 BTU Reverse Cycle AC Units, Icemaker, Salon Wet Bar, Updated Salon Seating, and the cockpit has a Nav Pod which houses Electronics including Tridata, Autopilot, Wind, Compass and Radar. Planning to  Liveaboard or cruise, Gypsie is a great choice for warm weather cruising with excellent ventilation while at anchor.

Gypsie is hull # 192 of 200 built so one of the last and the lowest price in the world for a Series II Irwin 52 that is ready to sail.  She needs some finishing of the new deck and interior wood veneer repair and her value will be back into the $200K +  value range.

Cruising caused the owners to have more children so now they have to sell :-)
