Grand Banks did a complete redesign of it's extremely popular Classic model and reintroduced it in 2007. Some of its new features include a full size entrance door from the aft trunk cabin landing, a mid level galley and a luxurious queen suite forward and aft. Both staterooms have large ensuite heads and large showers. These new features give the 47 Classic a incredibly spacious interior that feels much larger than her true size. The 47 Classic has more usable interior space than her sistership the 47 Europa. There is also the luxury of having complete privacy for both staterooms as they are not squeezed together as in the Europa style.
Julianne has been highly customized with attention to the smallest detail during her build. One example is the redesigned more useable flybridge with 2 large facing settees, 3 power STIDD helm seats, and custom sized solid teak table that can seat 8 for dinner. Her discerning owner wanted ultimate luxury in a smaller more manageable size. The result is a yacht in the true tradition having been outfitted with no expense spared. From her care by a full time captain to the finest and best available items being lavished on her, she offers incredible value as her true cost is over 1.6 million as she sits. All this offered for $1.175 million!

- WALKTHROUGH The Grand Banks Classic has received a very useful update by eliminating the port side door and moving it to the aft trunk cabin landing. This enables very easy access to the salon and also to the flybridge. This is especially convenient when the boat is underway and you're taking sandwiches to the bridge. No wind to contend with. Entrance to salon is aft down 4 steps. The salon is spacious with L-Settee on STBD, the teak dining table with fold-out leaves is in center and teak cabinetry with custom TV lift and Samsung thin flat screen TV on port, lowers out of sight when not viewing. A very comfortable barrel chair is forward on port with custom granite topped teak cabinet that houses stereo equipment and wine tumblers. The lower helm is on STBD with custom electric STIDD captain chair and teak cabinetry as its base. There is a STBD helm door for access to side deck. Down two steps is the mid level galley, U-shaped with dishwasher and two large pantry storage areas. Down two more steps is the spacious forward island queen suite. A door to the ensuite head is toward STBD. The head features a thick glass fold-out shower that's quite large. When folded back in place the head is roomy enough to comfortably dress in. Another side door leads to companionway and allows a double function of day head. Aft from salon is the master suite with ensuite head. Two solid teak doors provide privacy and are a Grand Banks tradition found on all Classics. The berth is a full queen with custom Tempurpedic mattress as is the forward berth. There is a large walk-in hanging locker on forward port bulkhead and access to ensuite head on STBD.
