General Details

************ NEW REDUCED PRICE *********** LET'S GET HER SOLD ***************

Here is an O'Day 25 located in Rhode Island.

The boat has been with the same owner for 15 years.

She has wheel steering, mainsail, and 2 jibs. The sails have been with the owner since it was bought, lightly used, and could use updating, but not essential for enjoying a day on the Bay.

Down below there is room for 2 in the forward sleeping area, and the port and starboard seating as well as the port quarterberth can also be used as sleeping quarters. Especially for children.

She has a porta potty head next to the forward berth.

In the main cabin, the centerboard mechanism is located under the dinette, and has an easy hand crank to raise and lower the centerboard.

There is a small galley with sink and a 2 burner stove allowing for heated meals, and even some top of stove cooking.

On deck, there is a section in the forward starboard area that indicates there has been some water intrusion. It is "squishy" when stepped on, and should be repaired at some point. It does not detract from the overall look of the boat, as you can see in the photos.

There are both summer and winter companionway slats, and a new sail cover.

She has an inboard Westerbeke diesel, that hasn't been used in a while. The engine was not starting, and rather than spend money just to analyze why, the owner decided it was far less expensive to put a small Mercury gas engine on the stern, which runs with no probems.

Overall, she is a comfortable small sailor, and with some additional maintenance, could last for a number of more years, and could make a great boat for the family just getting into the sailing life.
