Overview
AVA International, manufacturer of luxury Sedan Bridge Motoryachts, enters the North American market and establishes corporate offices in Knoxville, TN. AVA International appointed Brad Peer as General Manager to head up the U.S. efforts.  Peer joins AVA, USA with a background in marine sales, having worked with Meridian Yachts as a regional sales manager before taking on increased responsibility to manage sales and production for the brand, globally. Prior to joining AVA, USA, Peer was sales manager at Lake Union Sea Ray’s flagship location in Seattle, WA.  “AVA Yachts define the diverse segment of active people who do not settle for traditional norms and tired repetition so commonly found in the boating industry.” Peer says. “I am excited to bring such a high quality, fresh and unique product to the U.S. – something that will invigorate customers.” Peer continued. AVA, USA, a subsidiary of AVA International based in London, England, builds captivating Sedan Bridge Motoryachts with innovative styling and state of the art engineering. AVA Yachts’ heritage dates back to the early 1900′s with exquisite designs and hand crafted quality. AVA crafts world-class yachts from 16 to 22 meters from renowned U.K. designers Bill Dixon and Mark Tucker.   The doors of Dixon Yacht Design opened for the first time 27 years ago, and the business has grown to become one of the world’s leading yacht design studio’s, with yachts in build on five of the world’s seven continents. That only leaves two and very few people live on either of them!   Bill, only in his early twenties when he took over leadership of Angus Primrose Design following the untimely death of Angus, soon changed the trading name to Dixon Yacht Design. It is a testament to Bill’s abilities that the clients then with Angus Primrose remained loyal to the young designer, including Moody’s, which even with a recent change of ownership, is still a Dixon Yacht Design client today.  The team that make up Dixon Yacht Design are a highly trained and very experienced group, several of whom have been with Bill for many years.   Today the company, which recently moved its headquarters to more spacious accommodation in Swanwick Marina near Southampton, continues to look forward in every aspect of its business.    List Price: $ 952,525. + Certificate & Port Fees $ 7,500. +Freight & Destination Charges $ 45,000. = Total value$ 1,005,025.00
