Nauticat have been building yachts in Finland since the 1950s. They are famous for building sturdy boats that are capable of ocean crossings. Introduced in the 1980s, the Nauticat 35 was the first in a series of pilothouse yachts that became an instant hit and went on to establish the company as the leading builder of motorsailers.
Unlike some earlier cruising boats, it has a fin keel, so it's not a slug under sail, and the large engine is powerful enough to drive you through rough seas and strong currents when needed.
Inside, there are two staterooms, two heads, a raised pilothouse with an inside helm, and a galley. Everything is finished in beautiful hand-crafted teak, and feels as solid and safe as you could wish for.
This boat is well equipped, and has been very well cared for by a knowledgable owner. The engine was replaced 5 years ago with a new Volvo Penta diesel, the hull and interior have been freshly detailed, and the boat lies in a desirable main channel slip that can be transferred to a new owner.
