General Details

Heavy Lady is the prototype and first built Jonmeri 40, built in 1981.

 She is completely ready for big trips.
Very seaworthy vessel and an excellent sailing vessel.
Ship has had a major refit in 2008, 75,000 eur investment:

* Glued teak deck replaced by 14 mm thick teak
* Interior ceiling replaced by durable click system,with wood
* Hull and superstructure painted in arctic white Awlgrip
* Underwatership to bare polyester retrieved, no moisture found, then smoothed and put in epoxy layers
* Rudder taken out, new bronze bus inside
* Shaft out, new strut bearings in
* Replaced all electrics by Victron system
* Revised engine
* New water tanks placed
* New radar
